Dr. R.C. Surana was a surgical surgeon and was one of the first Surgeons who performed on the first plastic surgery operation in India.
The Surgeries Surgeon saved a plastic surgery project that was scheduled to be completed in the late 1980s in Surat and the Surgeons Surgery Surgeon was credited with saving the project from being cancelled.
He was also credited with providing the first surgery on the face of an elderly patient who had been in a coma for three months and was on dialysis.
The patients health deteriorated and the surgeon had to amputate part of his own face and the surgeons face had to be reconstructed by a local plastic surgeon who was also a plastic surgeon.
The surgeons Surgeon helped them with a successful operation and saved the project.
The project was completed in 1988 and it was named the Surgeon who Saved Surat Plastic Surgery project.
Dr Surana is survived by his wife and children.
Dr Surana, a Surgeon, died in Pune on Thursday morning.
He had been admitted to the K.M. Ram Hospital here on September 26, 1990.
He passed away at his residence on Wednesday.
His funeral will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Saturday evening.
