A Southlake plastic surgeon who performs on children with severe deformities, says the “an act by a child of extreme violence” has made him reconsider.
The Southlake Plastic Surgery Society is calling on people to call police and report a child’s injury to report a crime.
The Society has been receiving a number of calls from people who say they were attacked by a large group of children, including one that was bitten on the leg.
In the video, you can see the group of boys walking towards a plastic surgery shop in South Lake, about two miles north of the town of Woodland Hills.
They’re clearly upset, and then you see them throwing things at the shop and the staff, including a young boy.
They are holding him down, they are dragging him, and they are threatening him, they’re screaming at him, screaming, yelling, it’s just a violent attack.
“We have been in touch with a number, we’ve been in contact with a few different parents, a number who are in shock and are asking, ‘What happened?'”said Jeff Stearns, a plastic surgeon at the Southlake Surgery Society.
“There’s no doubt, the situation is horrific and it’s an act of terrorism, but there is no doubt that the attack has a lot of psychological effects on a lot people.”
Mr Stearnes says his patients are shocked by what they see.
“I’ve had patients say that the children that I treat don’t know who they are and what they are supposed to be doing,” he said.
“They just look like children and they look scared, and there’s no reason for that, and the way that the adults are reacting, that’s just terrible.”
And there are a lot more people than just those who are children that are in the group that we have.
“Police have not said if any arrests have been made.
The group, which has been described as a “militant group”, is known to police.
They also claim to be a group of “dangerous neo-Nazi” protesters who were arrested for blocking a highway and destroying property.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the South Lake Police Department on 101.
Police are investigating.
