KHLOE, Vietnam (AP) A South Korean man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for having fake noses for more than 10 years.
The Dong-A Ilbo newspaper says a jury in the central city of Dongdaemun on Thursday found Yong Jung-hyun guilty of violating the National Health Law, a crime that carries a mandatory prison term of up to 15 years.
He faces up to 20 years in jail and a fine of up $5,000 (about $6,500).
He was not charged with falsifying health records.
The court said it received complaints from more than 200 people who had had nose surgery or had plastic surgery.
Jung-hyuns defense attorney said the nose he had done was done under anesthesia.
